Dear Members and Stakeholders,

It is with great honor and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Pakistan Economic and Political Diplomacy Forum (PEPDF). Throughout my career spanning decades in government service, business leadership, and diplomatic engagement, I have witnessed firsthand the transformative power of dialogue, cooperation, and strategic partnerships in shaping the future of nations.

Having served twice as Advisor to the Prime Minister on Industries and Production, and currently leading the Pak India Business Council, I have dedicated my professional life to building bridges between nations, fostering economic collaboration, and creating platforms where meaningful dialogue can flourish. The establishment of PEPDF represents the culmination of this vision—a forum where economic policy, political diplomacy, and sustainable development converge to address the pressing challenges of our time.

Our Mission and Commitment

PEPDF is built on the foundation of my extensive experience in petroleum and gas sector representation, infrastructure development, and bilateral diplomatic engagement. Having represented Pakistan’s interests in numerous high-level discussions—including meetings during the visit of Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and Qatar’s Minister of Trade and Commerce—I understand the critical importance of institutional frameworks that facilitate meaningful dialogue.

Through six consecutive representations in Pak-India Joint Business Council meetings across Delhi, Islamabad, and Lahore, I have witnessed the immense potential that lies in regional economic integration and the breaking down of barriers that have historically divided our nations.

As someone who has served on the boards of public sector companies including Ravi Royan Ltd Lahore, Indus Steel Pipes Hyderabad, and Ravi Engineering Limited Lahore, I bring a comprehensive understanding of both public policy and private sector dynamics. This dual perspective enables PEPDF to serve as an effective bridge between government institutions, business leaders, academics, and civil society.
