Economic and Political Diplomacy is Pakistan’s leading platform promoting trade, economic cooperation, and political engagement with India, guided by a board of directors comprising distinguished and highly experienced figures from Pakistan’s political and financial sectors.
What We Do
We actively promote improved bilateral trade relations through strategic media engagement, events, initiatives, and targeted projects, supported by lobbying and advocacy efforts. Our work is strengthened by the development and coordination of a strategic network of partners and key influencers.
Key Achievements
Our key achievements include lobbying for the awarding of Most Favored Nation (MFN) status to India, the founding of the intergovernmental body PEPDF, sustained lobbying for better visa access for Pakistanis in India, and the development of a strong strategic network of partners and influencers.

Economic and Political Diplomacy has consistently fostered dialogue on the critical importance of trade with India by organizing seminars, conferences, and stakeholder meetings as part of its ongoing mission. Since its establishment, alongside the Pakistan–India Joint Business Forum.
